On top of the many hats he wears, Fr. Ron teaches Ecclesiology, Pastoral Theology, Spiritual Theology and Spiritual Direction in the Divine Word School of Theology in Tagaytay City, and Sacraments in La Sallette Seminary in Silang, Cavite. He also teaches Latin to the Eudist seminarians. He is also a spiritual director and trainor for various programs at the Galilee Center, a development and retreat center established by CBCP for priests. He is from Buffalo, New York. He has a doctoral degree in Pastoral Ministry. He used to be the Director of St. John Eudes Center, a multidisciplinary parish resource institute in Buffalo, New York where he organized various programs for parish renewal and formation of lay ministers. He had also worked as parish priest, professor and youth ministry diocesan director.

He is the third Colombian to have come to join the Philippine community. He is in demand as a confessor and resource speaker on spirituality and prayer for various religious congregations in and around Tagaytay City. He is also a spiritual director and counselor for seminarians, priests and lay persons. He currently handles the Spirituality classes for the Pre-Formation Year program of the Our Lady of the Pillar Seminary in Imus, Cavite. He has a licentiate on Philology (the study of linguistics, especially historical and comparative linguistics) from Universidad Incca de Colombia and an ecclesiastical degree in Theology from Universidad de Javeriana, a Jesuit university in Bogota. He speaks Spanish, English and French. Prior to joining the community in Tagaytay, he worked as formator and professor in various diocesan seminaries in Colombia (Seminario Sagrados Corazones in Pasto )and Ecuador (Seminario Mayor San José in Quito). He was already an educator and a lay missionary when he joined the Eudists. He was ordained priest for the jubillee year of 2000. He was born in 1962 in the city of Cali, Colombia. He loves strawberry ice cream!

Fr. François Jourdan, CJM

Fr. François hails from France. He was ordained priest in 1979 and has worked in various parishes, schools and universities. He spent two years as a missionary in Benin in western Africa and six years in the National Catholic Secretariat for Relationship with Islam (SRI) of the Bishops’ Conference of France. Also, for ten years he worked in actual interreligious dialogue with Muslims in the Archdiocese of Paris. He is passionate about his studies on Islam and non-violence. He holds a doctoral degree from Sorbonne and the Catholic Institute on Islamology and has written many books on the subject of interreligious dialogue. He currently teaches French and Salvation History at La Sallete Seminary in Silang, Cavite. Together with Fr. Jose Angel, he handles the spirituality class for seminarians at the Pre-Formation Year of Our Lady of the Pilar Seminary, the college seminary for the Diocese of Imus. He continues to write more books and articles for publication in the near future.
Fr. Serg Kabamalan, CJM

Serg is the first Filipino and Asian to become a member of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary. He was incorporated last September 8, 2011. Two days later, he was ordained deacon by Msgr. Luis Antonio Tagle, DD, the Bishop of the Diocese of Imus then and the Archbishop of Manila now. He was ordained priest by the same bishop on March 26, 2012 during the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. He has a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology from the University of the Philippines-Los Baños and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from De La Salle University-Manila. Prior to entering the Eudist formation as a seminarian, he had worked at the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) for 11 years. He is now part of the Eudist formation team in Quezon City. He currently spearheads the Vocation Promotion program of the Eudists.
